A graduate of the Katharine Gibbs School of Business, Janette brings decades of experience and dedication to her role as Office Manager. She began her career in the veterinary field in 1995 and joined South and Washington County Veterinary Hospitals in 2017. Over the years, she has built extensive expertise in both general and holistic veterinary medicine, supporting compassionate, high-quality care for animals of all sizes.
Janette’s professional achievements include being named Rhode Island Veterinary Technician of the Year in 2016 and receiving the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association’s Animal’s Best Friend Award in 2014. She is also an active member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association, Fear Free Veterinary Professionals, and the North American Association of Veterinary Receptionists (NAAVR).
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Janette cherishes time with her family and granddaughters, and enjoys life in South County surrounded by her pets. In her free time, she can be found reading, cooking, crafting, and exploring new creative outlets—hobbies that showcase her creativity, compassion, and dedication both inside and outside the hospital.
